Each year Litchfield Performing Arts awards approximately 1/3 of their students need-based scholarships to Jazz Camp, thanks to additional funding made available through grants, foundations and individual donors. To apply for a Litchfield Performing Arts scholarship to the 2025 Jazz Camp, follow the instructions during registration and send us a copy of page 1 & 2 of your most current 1040 as soon as possible but no later than April 15, 2025.

We encourage students to apply to other local organizations and foundations for scholarship support. Past Campers have received support from the following places:

1. Local Banks
2. Local Rotary Clubs
3. Fraternal Organization (e.g. Eastern Star, Elks, Masons, Easter Star, Kiwanis, etc.)
4. Your Local Church
5. Your School PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization)
6. Wishbone
7. The Clifford W. Beers Guidance Clinic
8. Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation
9. The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving
10. Connecticut Community Foundation – Waterbury
11. Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation
12. Nassau Music
13. Grandparents, aunts and uncles (can ask for a “gift” to Camp)
