Bassist, Ryan Berg was born into music. Originally from Minneapolis Minnesota the Berg name is known for their musical contributions throughout the midwest. In his career, based in New York, he has carried the musical tradition and made himself a staple on the New York jazz scene. He has traveled throughout the world with many great artists including Gregory Porter, Lindsey Webster, Connie Han, Brianna Thomas, Mark Whitfield, JD Allen, Marvin Sewell, Stacy Dillard, George Burton, Tim Warfield, Josh Evans, Chamille Thurman, Rashid Ali, Anthony Wonsey, Gerald Clayton, Sullivan Fortner, Cindy Cashdollar, Bruce Williams, Keith Slattery, Frank Lacy, Larry Campbell, Jeremy “Bean” Clemons, Marquis Hill, Roy Hargrove, and many more… He has been a band member for a television show produced by Kelsey Grammer, and played as a member of the Broadway shows “Jersey Boys”, “Hadestown”, and “Summer.” Ryan teaches clinics, classes, and lessons at institutions including Jazz at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
