Each year Litchfield Performing Arts awards approximately 1/3 of their students need-based scholarships to Jazz Camp, thanks to additional funding made available through grants, foundations and individual donors. To apply for a Litchfield Performing Arts scholarship to the 2027 Jazz Camp, follow the instructions during registration and send us a copy of page 1 & 2 of your most current 1040 by May 1st.

We encourage students to apply to other local organizations and foundations for scholarship support. Past Campers have received support from the following places:

1. Local Banks
2. Local Rotary Clubs
3. Fraternal Organization (e.g. Eastern Star, Elks, Masons, Easter Star, Kiwanis, etc.)
4. Your Local Church
5. Your School PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization)
6. Wishbone
7. The Clifford W. Beers Guidance Clinic
8. Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation
9. The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving
10. Connecticut Community Foundation – Waterbury
11. Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation
12. Nassau Music
13. Grandparents, aunts and uncles (can ask for a “gift” to Camp)
