Mark your calendars for the Holiday event of the season, Jingle & Mingle, a dinner party to support Litchfield Jazz Camp.

At the lovely Litchfield Community Center, Saturday, Dec 7, the evening begins with hors d’oeuvres and an open bar, followed by a delicious holiday dinner and a musical performance.

Jingle & Mingle supports Litchfield Jazz Camp need-based scholarships. In the 2019 camp summer, $50,000 in scholarships was awarded.

The evening’s featured performer is the award-winning vocalist Alina Engibaryan. A Russian émigré schooled at Prince Claus Conservatory in the Netherlands, she won the coveted Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition in 2015.  She now tours with the ten-time Grammy Award winning collective Snarky Puppy. Back from a 24-concert tour with the group to venues like the Monterey Jazz Festival, Alina will be backed in Litchfield by the Albert Rivera Quartet. Alina and Albert are both on the Litchfield Jazz Camp faculty. A talented student combo will open for the pros.

Jingle & Mingle begins at 6:30 with a cocktail party offering appeptizers,  and an open bar with award-winning, small batch liquors donated by Litchfield Distillery. A delicious buffet dinner follows.  Music continues throughout the evening. Dancing is encouraged as is dressing fabulously!
